Leah and Albus moment

"I saw it, you're weak," a voice emerged from the shadows of the now devastated city, covered in flames and with thousands of bodies on the ground.

"She appears, she kills our people, and you help her protect herself," Karin, one of Magnus Gryffindor's closest and most powerful allies, appeared before Leah.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Leah's voice trembled, trying to maintain her regal and serious demeanor.

The plan was to confront Albus, or rather, "Red Dragon," and retrieve one of Magnus's gems. Leah had been included in this mission as bait to attract the attention of the red-haired girl, but she had outsmarted their plans by decimating their camp.

Leah couldn't stand by and watch Albus fight alone against them, so she defended her.

"Your parents offer you as an important contribution to our cause, but you're nothing but a lie, weak because of that girl," Karin's smile turned macabre as her eyes roamed over Leah.

"I'm loyal to Magnus, I don't know what you're talking about," Leah's breath trembled as she slowly tried to reach for her wand. Karin burst into malicious laughter at Leah's words.

"Poor spoiled little girl," Karin began to pace around Leah. "Thinks she can always get away with it."

Karin approached Leah from behind, raising her wand. The touch of the wood on Leah's spine paralyzed her, and she closed her eyes.

"You've fought with the Red Dragon, now you'll suffer the consequences."

But before Karin could continue speaking, a flash of green light and a resounding "Avada Kedavra" interrupted the scene.

Leah slowly opened her eyes and turned to find Karin's lifeless body on the ground. When she looked up, she saw Albus, who held her wand firmly.

Leah stared at her in astonishment, while Albus removed her mask, her expression mirroring Leah's shock.

"He was going to..." Albus tried to justify her actions, looking at Karin's body. Her eyes welled up slightly, just like Leah's, but neither shed tears.

Albus looked at the ground while Leah approached and hugged her. Both of their hearts were shattered. Leah loved her family but did not approve of the war they were fighting, especially if it was against Albus.

Albus wanted to trust Leah, protect her, take care of her. If it were up to her, she would have kidnapped her on her dragon a long time ago. But she knew that Leah's loyalty to her family was an insurmountable obstacle.

Leah and Albus separated slightly in the silence of the city in ruins. Albus handed her one of Magnus's gems.

Leah looked at it in confusion.

"You're going to return it to Magnus," Albus's voice became serious and analytical as she explained her plan. "You'll earn his favor and become one of his favorites and protected, so he won't harm you."
