On a strangely rainy night in August, someone knocked on Fig's door. Fig was surprised, as he wasn't expecting any visitors, but the person standing behind the door was just a boy, soaked from head to toe with a disheveled suitcase.
Fig allowed the unknown boy to come in and stay at the house, and despite introducing him to Albus, she remained wary of his presence. His name was Landon Quinn, and from that day on, he stayed at Professor Fig's place, along with Albus.
Initially, Landon and Albus didn't speak much. They exchanged only the necessary words. Nevertheless, Landon knew that Albus had tried to escape several times, and he noticed how many nights she spent sleepless, just like him. Albus, on her part, always took advantage of her moments alone with Fig to inquire about why he was there and who he really was without much success.
Fig insisted that Landon tried to get closer to her, as he believed it would help Albus cope with the weight of her loss and traumas. However, Albus's responses were always negative: "Leave me alone," "Go away," "who are you?" were some of the phrases Albus used against him. Landon tried to approach her out of respect for his professor, but he ended up developing animosity towards her. In his eyes, Albus became a bothersome and arrogant person, leading them to have quite heated arguments.
Although time and the help of Professor Fig gradually eased the situation for Albus, she and Landon seemed to continue on the wrong foot they started with on their way to Hogwarts.
